As Head of Engineering at Coinify I own the engineering function end to end, from architecture and infrastructure through delivery and security. I joined as Lead Software Engineer to build the team behind our internal back office systems: fraud detection, payouts, reconciliation and accounting. There I built a ClickHouse analytical layer that solved a years-long problem of querying data across microservices, and the unified financial closing system the business now runs its monthly close on. Since taking over the engineering team I have been driving Coinify's move from a legacy tech stack to a distributed microservice architecture, and steering engineering through the company's MiCA licensing, Travel Rule rollout and DAC8 reporting. I have held senior engineering-management positions, but my strongest contribution has consistently been at the intersection of software engineering, architecture and technical leadership.
Before Coinify I spent nearly seven years at Vita Media Group, most recently as Head of Technology, where I played a key role in architecting and coding projects such as the award-winning OMG Affiliates system, an internal SMTP platform, and an event-driven bounce processing system. Earlier still, I founded and launched a successful set of Android mobile alarm clock applications for various music players, which were downloaded more than 300k times and had several thousand daily active users.
I work across the whole stack, from AWS infrastructure and databases through backend and frontend. I have a master's degree in Computer Science from Københavns Universitet and a bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Management from Czech Technical University in Prague.

Architected and led the implementation of the second version of the award-winning OMG Affiliates system. Co-developed the internal SMTP platform and launched an event-driven bounce processing system handling tens of millions of email messages a month, which sharply reduced bounce rates. In 2023, designed and implemented a mail pooling system that stabilized and increased baseline email revenue by 80.000€. Co-drove the 2022 redesign of EkstraPoint.com with the CTO. Owned solution and system architecture and the company infrastructure, and led a cross-functional, cross-country (Copenhagen-North Macedonia) engineering team while staying hands-on.
Continued development of EkstraPoint.com and co-drove the switch to an Angular single-page front end. Built and launched the financeiq.io white-label loan forms engine. Ran weekly technical status for Head and C-level stakeholders.
Built and launched the POC version of the first casino loyalty platform in the world EkstraPoint.com. Responsible for the entire backend development, external games integration and launch, as well as overseeing the front-end development (WordPress) delivered by both internal and external resources.

Built the Android client for Kiggit, a social betting app for football fans, in Java and later Kotlin on a Model-View-Presenter architecture. Integrated push notifications (GCM, Firebase) and payments (Google Play, Adyen), across several MVP iterations of the core play loop and onboarding.
Consolidated the company's separate Android point-of-sale applications into a single configurable product, supporting both offline and online operation, syncing across multiple devices via Google Cloud Messaging, and driving peripheral receipt and fiscal printers over Bluetooth and Ethernet.
I developed a web application similar to Google Sheets or MS Excel which was designed to simplify the insertion of users' tabular data into an SQL database (MSSQL). Support for both user and administrator view (IAM functionalities).

Finished with bachelor thesis "Designing Service for Product Placement Support in Social Media". I recognized the future potential of influencer marketing and therefore analyzed the possibilities of detecting early-stage influencers. Built an initial POC application built using a graph database (Neo4J) in order to identify such individuals.
